Terika Raak

Terika came to us all the way from Seattle, Washington. Although her stated reason was "to attend Western Theological Seminary", we know she was pre-destined to work at JP's and drawn here by the powers that be.
Being a Seattle-ite, she began the search for a coffee outlet to provide balance in her life. She found it at JP's (although she was only fulfilling her pre-destination). She has the dream of one day returning to her home area in western Washington, opening up her own coffee shop, and letting that be her ministry (but she can't because we have a secret electronic tether implanted in her personal tamper and she can never move away).
Terika's credentials...
- Started drinking coffee in second grade and has proven the myth that it will stunt your growth to be false.
- Has a B.A. in Business Administration and Management along with a Masters of Divinity (she makes divine espresso).
- Started working at JP's in 2006.
- On the JP's Barista Committee.
- Started as a trainer with MBS in 2009.
- Helped organize and execute the first Great Lakes Barista Jam, along with multiple Latte Art Throwdowns (winning the first two).
Terika believes that good strong community starts with good strong coffee.
